Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CDT/-5.0/DST' instead in /backup/qa/www/sub/rss/product.php on line 32

Hi:
I am trying out Multi-Filename Editor version 1.02.02 and it is working well and I will buy it. Just one irritant is that it changes the sequence of the files when it reads them from File Explorer. So if in Explorer the filenames are sorted into ascending sequence 1 2 3 4 then Multi-Filename Editor reads them as 4 1 2 3 and there appears to be no way to sort the read only first column. Do you know why it does that and whether I can change the sequence of the first column to match that in File Explorer?

I have 1000's of jpg files that I am re-scanning with new equipment and this utility enables me to rename the new scans to the names I used for the old scans without having to retype everything.

It is also useful to be able to read filenames into a spreadsheet and change them and rename the files.

Many thanks

Tony
